More late night photoshopping!!!

Well, I am loving my time to play with my photos. I only wish my kids were more cooperative about taking photos. If you only knew what I had to bribe them with for this photo shoot. I think it was video games for an hour, movies and candy before dinner!!! Well Karma is real because they had tummy aches. Yes, I do get the mom of the year award too!! But hey lesson learned, I am a great teacher!

I seriously joined like a month or so ago, but getting ready for vacation I just didn't have the time, but my goodness I spent an hour or so on it last night. The wealth of information was just crazy. I haven't posted any of my photos or anything, heck a girl has to get a little good first. hehe I cannot say enough about it, the tips were useful even for my point and shoot camera.

Anyway, just thought I would share some of my fun!! I have candy to eat, oops if my husband reads this I mean carrots! Little side note..I have Type 1 Diabetes and am forever attached to an insulin pump. So again off to eat my carrots and watch my movies.

What am I doing on vacation?

Well, a whole lot of nothing! It has been wonderful....enjoying the kids and the family has been much needed. I have not had a chance to get some really quality pictures, but I took my favorites and played around on photoshop. Granted they are not the best, but the first time I played around with levels. I found a really cool blog called www.coffeeteaphotography.blogspot.com the directions were awesome and got me motivated to play around a bit. I am just loving San Diego weather, well anything is better than the boiling heat of our crazy Arizona! It has been in the high 70's and I am a nice shade of golden brown. The kids are loving the beach! Gabi actually lays and rolls around in it! Brandon is crazy about the ocean and jumps right in, makes my heart jump right out! They are busy busy building sand castles, sand desserts and night walks on the beach! We ventured to Legoland and that was completely awesome, I will post more pictures soon.

Wow a post a day!!! I might actually put the pettiskirt giveaway up this week...oops did I say pettiskirt???
I know I say it a lot, but this is why I love my job. I LOVE seeing the BEAUTIFUL pictures of the girls. I never thought much of photography and would always say that it seems pretty easy, well it is not! Or at least not for me and no just because you have a nice camera doesn't mean you will take wonderful shots either. It is the talented person behind the camera, plus their special talent on the editing, another thing I am horrible at! I have so many awesome pictures that I don't always get to use on the website. I need to put up a gallery, do you think I should do like a slide show or just post the pictures? ChildHelp Enchanted Luncheon

I was so excited to participate in the Childhelp's Enchanted Luncheon at the GORGEOUS Montelucia Resort and Spa located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Childhelp is a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect. This was a beautiful fundraiser. When you came you were greeted by horse drawn carriages with beautiful mom and daughters having their photos taken. The keynote speaker was Lin Sue-Cooney and the special guests were Princess Catherine Oxenberg, well known for her role in Dynasty. Her husband well known actor Casper Van Dien was in attendance as well as their beautiful daughters. Casper Van Dien recently taped a Childhelp PSA.

Here are some photos of some of the outfits that were taken home by Princess Catherine and Casper Van Dien's girls! I was most excited by the eldest daughter who just loved the turquoise and black outfit. The tween market is so hard to please and she was super excited. They were all so gracious and very thankful.

The fundraiser was super fun to be a part of and to see all the little princesses running around with their gorgeous mothers for charity was great!

LuckyGabi going on vacation!!!

So I finally sent out the dreaded email that I will be closing up shop for almost 8 weeks! Yikes!! I had to! I love working and have had such a great response to my products, but I need to regroup and spend time with my precious kids the actual Lucky and Gabi!!! It was a hard decision, but I am embracing this time to update my website, images, and details. I have been working with a fabulous web designer for a few weeks now and can not wait to show everyone the new website. I have so many new ideas that come rushing to me, but never find the time to bring them to fruition. BUT, the main reason for the vacation are these two knuckleheads!! They are so much fun and make me laugh constantly, especially Brandon. He will for sure be the class clown. These are some pictures from our bike ride to the park!! Brandon needs a haircut but he does not want his hair short. We will see who wins that battle.

Gabi is growning up so fast! I often say I am still exhausted from having her. It feels like just the other day!!! She loves her bubba and wants to do everything he does.

Gabi seems to think she can ride a bike, we wont tell her different, like she would listen anyway. Hmmm...I wonder where she gets that from, yep Clint! Anyway, I found a bike that has a push bar on it since I knew I would be stuck pushing her!! She loves it and it plays Winnie the Pooh music.

And there is Brandon, the park has some hills so he rides his bike down the hill. He picked up riding his bike so fast. I cannot believe he will be starting actual school soon!! I WILL be that mom with the tears taking pictures.

Well we cant ride bikes and go to the park in sunny Arizona during the summer, so I am packing up the family and heading to San Diego for 3 weeks. I wish it was longer, but the beach condo wasn't available for the month, so I will manage with the 3 weeks. LOL Oh I cannot wait!!! We are creatures of habit and always vacation in San Diego for the summer over the 4th of July and of course our anniversary is July 2nd. I cannot believe Clint has had the privilege to be married to me for 9 years!! He has to be the luckiest man alive. Well, I am starting my summer early and we are heading up north to drop off the motorhome for the summer. Last year we left them up North and camped every other weekend. What a great time!!! I promise to blog more and I am even thinking of doing some fun giveaways!!! Soon!!

What a wonderful video

I haven't posted in awhile since I have been so busy. As I work into the wee hours I often think of my family and how blessed I am to have them. My husband is a wonderful and supportive man and my kids are true blessings. This Easter was great spending time with my sister and her family and seeing the kids play. I often find myself putting so much energy into people and things that don't really matter and neglecting the people and things that matter the most. Keeping it simple is going to be my goal for this coming month. I came upon this video from another blog and it just touched me. You will have to mute my music to hear it and it is worth it.

Birthday Pettiskirt Party!!

How simply beautiful is Miss "I". Well, I just love her in any of my pettiskirts or photos. She is so full of life and loaded with sass. Just the right amount!! The camera absolutely loves her!! Miss "I" celebrated her birthday and I was so honored to make her a pettiskirt for her special day!!!

Of course Amy Fraughton Photography was there to capture every moment of these girly girls laughing, dancing and having fun!!

And the cutest picture ever!!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and you look GORGEOUS!!! I really do think this is my most favorite outfit!!! One Posh Kid made a matching top that just finished this outfit up!

Best buds and BMX racing!

Brandon's best friend "the Governor" has been riding at the BMX track and finally talked him into heading over and trying it out! Well, Brandon loved it! We didn't want to buy him all the gear he needed until we knew for sure he was going to love it and well he does. He of course had his helmet from riding his quad, but he was such a good sport out on the track riding his little bike.

Here they are waiting for their turn to go out on the track. When I saw the track I thought to myself no way will he get out there, tell you the truth I was hoping he wouldn't. No fear in him he went on in with 100 other people and started going over the big bumps and all. Clint had Court that day so he met us at the track and I made him run after him in his suit to make sure he didn't need help. It was funny!! He needed some help up some big hills because he didn't have the right kind of bike and he just has those tiny hooves!! (Simpsons mention) The Governor rocked it! He went through the gates and rode around like a natural. He was so excited that Brandon was there!!

Flower Petal tutus!!

Oh how beautiful are these!! The photos, the model and the flower petal tutus. I was feeling a bit spring ie... and have been working on some fun soft color flower petal tutus. Of course no chance for photos yet, but I came across these and fell in love all over again!! Monica Reid Photography took these gorgeous photos and I just love them. LuckyGabi flower petal tutus are full of soft rose petals and greenery with a contrasting color of tulle and satin. Perfect for those Spring afternoons, great with tights and perfect for photos!!!

Brandon Lucky turns 5!

Alright, so he turned 5 a week ago, but that is how long it takes me to do things around here. Most of you know we took Brandon to Disneyland on his birthday, he got the special Disney treatment and got in for free!! This was his first time on a plane and it was such a cool experience. Let me back up and tell you Clint bought me a really nice Canon 40D camera for my birthday and I haven't had much time to play around with it, well I still haven't really gotten a chance. WE get to the airport and I decided to take a picture of the boys (Gabi was left at home with Dodo) and it took one picture and then the battery was dead. Yes, I forgot to charge the camera. Anyway, Clint went and bought one of those cheap cameras, the noisy ones. Okay, roll forward to boarding the plane. Brandon gets on board and they ask him if he wants to meet the captain, hell yeah! Okay maybe that is what I was thinking. Bubba hops right into the Captains chair, they position the seat perfect for him. It was the coolest thing ever! There is me taking pictures, rolling the film forward making that annoying sound, people staring at me and the flight crew asking Clint decided to go retro huh? Oh well, still some cool memories!!! I will post some pictures of our Disneyland trip soon!!!

Glamour Parties with Amy Fraughton Photography!!

NOW this is why i love my job! To see my creations on these beautiful girls showcased by fabulous photography!! Amy Fraughton Photography is offering these fabulous sessions called Glamour parties! What a great idea a bunch of cuties playing dress up and amazing photos equals memories for a lifetime! Shoot I think it is a great idea for even me and my girlfriends dressing up and having beautiful pictures taken of us...hmmmmm........What a great idea to capture best friends or an alternative for a birthday party!! I was given a ton more cute pictures of these fab girls in these pettiskirts!! I have mentioned to a few but I NEED a break. I have been so busy and although it is wonderful; me, my machines and my housekeeping need a little TLC! During my little break I will be working on adding all these great pics! I just love the second one. Amy came up with the mixture of the zebra and raspberry and it turned out beautiful! I think another great combo was the pink and apple green. Amy took some amazing pictures of my favorite purple and turquoise with black fluff pettis that I am hoping to post soon. Style Cafe Mom Celebrity Gifting

I know I have mentioned to some of you that I will be taking part in Style Cafe Moms celebrity gift baskets to help bring awareness to the CPSIA law going into effect February 10th. The baskets included several celebrities and I wish I had more time to participate in them all, but I choose to gift Jessica Alba's beautiful baby girl Honor. Included was a raspberry My First Petti pettiskirt, a raspberry corsage top and a raspberry satin bow with the initial H in crystals. So you can tell I am still not good with the camera, but it turned out beautiful. I know some of you might not know or understand what exactly the new law entails and to tell you the truth I don't either! I do know it will make it very difficult to do my job! The petting zoo party!!

We celebrated Baby Gabi's 2nd birthday by having an awesome petting zoo and pony ride from Carter's Family Farm. I was nervous about the whole thing since I scheduled it during her nap, she recently became scared of animals, and yes of course it was going to rain all day!!! It turned out amazing and everyone enjoyed it. Here are a ton of pictures!

Baby Gabi is 2!

I can't believe my baby is two years old! It really does feel like she was just born. We have been on vacation so I will be posting pictures of her birthaday celebration over the next couple of days. In my house you don't just get a birthday, but a birthday week!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures. My Gabi is a true blessing and brings so much joy to our family! She is so full of life and brings a smile to your face! Well, Brandon might not smile all the time with her!

I LOVE Christmas!

Oh how I LOVE Christmas! It seems the Holiday fun starts at Thanksgiving with Clint's birthday, Thanksgiving and then rolls right into decorating, cookie party, Polar Express, my birthday and then the New Year comes!! Baby Gabi's birthday and Brandon's birthday are soon after! Well, I decided to be my own photographer since we could not seem to find the time to get them done right and here they are, yes I know I am never in any pictures!! I think Mother's Day I had 72 photos and I was only in 2 of them!! Hmmmmmm..... Anyway I loved the picture because the two actually look like they adore one another. As long as baby Gabi isn't taking his toys and he isn't tormenting her they get along, yeah right!

Of course Baby Gabi is giving a cheesy smile. She seems to be good at those lately! She is sooo much fun, who would have ever known I did NOT want a girl!!

And there is my sweet baby boy, okay he is not a baby but I can still eat him up and love to hold him. Just don't tell his friends that!

Okay, how stinkin cute is this picture!!! Seriously, not all photographers are created equal!! I have been so lucky to find some of the best photographers around. Shellie Benson does amazing work I am "Lucky" that my wonderful photographer Amy Jamieson introduced us!!

How creative is this picture, I love everything about it from the red and white tights to the lollipops in the ground. Oh and the red barn.....too cute! And the little cutie wearing a LuckyGabi My first petti in the picture makes it even better! I think I stared at this picture for an hour last night.

Halloween Pictures!

Here our some Halloween pictures for you! Better late than never right? Well, we found these sparkly red shoes and built the outfit around them. In true Christina style I waited to the very last minute to make her outfit. In my defense I have been super busy around here. I was suppose to make a light blue pettiskirt, but ran out of time so I made the very easy knotted tutu. Looks great and fluffy!!! I made the top that day and it turned out pretty cute. Baby Gabi's hair is getting kind of long so I was really excited to put it in pig tails. Of course she has candy in her mouth since that is the only way she will ever let me take pictures of her. I can't believe she actually wore her outfit the whole night! She had a good time trick o treating with her big brother!

There is my boy Lucky the Nascar racer. IF you did not know us you would think we are a bunch of hillbillies. Brandon loves Home Depot, he loves going there, he loves talking about it, he can spot a Home Depot a mile away! He really has a passion for cars too! It is quite amazing how he can spot a car and tell you what make it is. Ace Ventura is another all time favorite of Brandons. He LOVES talking out of his butt! One camping trip we watched the Ace Ventura cartoon and well he was hooked. His favorite phrases coming out of his butt are "can I aask you a question" "you crack me up" and "don't talk to me about running". Even baby Gabi joins in the fun and bends over and imitates Brandon. True classic moments! So of course Brandon had Clint carve Ace Ventura into one of our pumpkins! I think it looks really good and you should have seen how happy Brandon was! Well Clint looked pretty impressed with himself too!

The Pumpkin Patch through the years!!!

Well, it was the annual trip to Schnepf Farm for the pumpkin patch and mine and Nay's trip to get ourselves some lemonade. I thought I would share some pictures of our trip through the years. Actually, it started when Nay and I, my best friend in the whole world, were pregnant with the boys and we took Miss "I". No pictures of that trip, I think I was as big as a house and my ankles had gone missing for months!

Aren't they so stinking cute!!! I will have to post a picture of Clint and Brandon later. They were dressed in matching overalls! Not sure where Miss "I" went??

Dodo's Birthday!

Well Dodo's birthday was the other day October 12th. Brandon has been calling my dad Dodo since he was a baby and baby Gabi started too! It is so cute, everytime the doorbell rings they fly to the door screaming Dodo. We took him to our favorite place to eat on Mill Avenue, Restaurant Mexico. I have been going there since I was a little girl. Then while attending ASU Clint and I would meet there for dinner, so I got him hooked too! They seriously have the best flan ever!! I also made Gabi a cute ASU bow, GO DEVILS!! I wanted to get a cute picture of the kids in their ASU gear for my dad, but I am the queen of good intentions. I at least got the bow done! Here is another shot of the bow, but of course the photo is blurry, Amy where are you when I need you!!!

Glitter Dot Pettiskirts!

I just love this pettiskirt! Okay so I picked a bad color to display the dots, but it is so sparkly and so much fun! It comes in some pretty fun colors, I am hoping to have the red glitter dot pettiskirt picture up soon! Big and fluffy like the other LuckyGabi pettiskirts, but the top layer has tiny silver glitter dots! They match perfectly with bling tops, I prefer of course One Posh Kid bling tops, if you are looking for something cute with good quality!
